The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic content writer and manager, with at least five years of digital B2C experience. You’ll be creating content for all our marketing channels across our brands to inspire people to experience the world. Each piece of content will be highly focused and have its own metrics for success.

You'll need an impeccable standard of English and excellent writing skills. You’ll create targeted, engaging content that will appear on our site/s and be promoted worldwide – across multiple languages – by our marketing team.

Proven writing skills are not all you need for this role. You need to be confident in commissioning external writers, creating interactive and visual content and running your own projects with colleagues across the business.

You’re likely to be enthusiastic and energetic, with a naturally high level of output. And you’ll be innovative in your approach to serving our diverse international, multilingual and increasingly mobile audiences.

Tasks

  • Write email content, in-app content, targeted travel guides, ‘how to’ tips, consumer-interest content, landing page copy, ad copy and much more
  • Work effectively with external vendors and varied stakeholders across the business
  • Be an ambassador for our brands and promote the value of content
  • Identify and exploit fresh opportunities to improve our communications
  • Support colleagues and work effectively in a team
  • Help multiple departments achieve their communications goals
  • Think and work fast – and always meet tight deadlines.

Attributes

  • Educated to degree level in English or a communications-related discipline
  • Demonstrably excellent writing skills and impeccable grammar
  • At least five years of commercial digital content creation experience
  • Understanding of brand and what that means for content
  • Experience of creating engaging content of varied formats, such as story, tips, quiz, tool, etc.
  • Solid understanding of the needs of a mobile audience
  • Confident to run your own projects and deal with varied stakeholders
  • Experience of working with content management systems and social media channels.
