Role Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Product Owner who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and lives to deliver results.  You will report to the Chief Business Development Officer (a direct report to the CEO and former management consultant) and will be responsible for delivering analysis, insights and recommendations to significantly grow our business in new markets, to new customers and via new partnerships.  High performers can expect extensive opportunities to build and run part of the business.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

You will need to work with colleagues across the organisation to:

  • Assess and prioritise new ideas and propositions based on customer needs, the competitive landscape, and commercial feasibility
  • Develop robust business requirements, financial models, investment cases, and presentations for Board approval and stakeholder buy-in
  • Crack the analytical and operational challenges to take ideas from the white board to implementation, with a pragmatic approach and bias toward speed-to-market
  • Execute key strategic projects and manage teams to deliver requirements, delight customers and drive business results
  • Screen and evaluate partnership opportunities, as needed
  • Own analysis and development of market insights to support strategic decision making across the business

Skills & Experience

  • Degree educated
  • 2+ years’ experience in analytical roles in a commercial environment, preferably at a top-tier management consulting firm
  • Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders to deliver strategic insights and business results
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • International work experience a plus
  • Travel or e-commerce experience a plus
