Customer Insight Analyst – CRO / AB Testing / SQL / Google Analytics / Customer Experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated analyst to join our Product Organisation. You will work alongside designers, developers & product owners to produce valuable insights, using analytics tools and data-mining techniques.

In this role, you will be directly involved in enabling business improvements through your own insights / observations.

As well as identifying opportunities, you will demonstrate your ability to recommend specific ones – and provide the analytical evidence to back up your recommendations.
Where evidence & reporting is limited, you will recommend improvements based on experience, research & observations.

The role will involve ownership of metrics, analytical & reporting improvements & influencing strategy.

Remit Includes

  • Producing core insights from multiple data sources
  • Liaising and collaborating with multiple product teams across Product & the wider business
  • Suggesting, creating and implementing fundamental improvements to website performance
  • Using a selection of analytics tools to evaluate and optimise website performance
  • Supporting & driving CRO using A/B (& multivariate) testing
  • Supporting & driving customer experience improvements

 

Essential Skills

  • Data-mining and analytical skills
  • A good knowledge of statistical methods and data / web analysis software
  • The ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information, based on solid research
  • An understanding of SQL (the ability to write basic queries)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (ideally GAIQ)

 

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working in / for an eCommerce organisation
  • Experience of working in / for a multi-channel organisation
  • Cross-device analytical experience (Mobile / Desktop / Tablet / App)
  • Experience writing complex queries using SQL
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel)
  • Power BI / Tableau
  • Forecasting / Modelling
